i notice that i 6 swollen nodes all over my body... first 2 swollen nodes was felt on the back my right upper tigh, then after a while another 2 in the front of left upper tigh, and then again later 1 more on the side of my left stomache and recently 1 on my left wrist, . They are about 0.3-0.5 wide. Those on my right tighs feels unconfortable and sometimes aching.
I have done some research on the internet and what i see is terrifing. Can someone explain to me what is happening to me ??
i have seen a doctor and he say that its normal without even thoroghly check me. & i was told the only way to remove these nodes is by surgery. _________________ my worried |

Unless your lymph nodes are excessively swollen, usually it is something that will go away in a few days or weeks. It is your immune system doing what it is supposed to do by protecting you from viruses and bacterias. It is scary to suddenly become aware of something different about your body and not know what is causing it, but a lot of times we are exposed to illnesses and we do not know it nor get the disease because our bodies are really good at protecting us unless we abuse our body. Good luck to you. _________________ If the world ended tomorrow, there would still be today. |

I don't think anyone here can tell what these nodes are and you should talk to your physician again. What worries me was that they told you it was OK without performing a thorough examination. It seems you need another examination.

hi,
Had went for biopsy and remove some of the nodes..during the follow up of the surgery the doctor said there's nothing wrong and the lumps are non cancerous.. according to him its normal for some pple to have lumps all over the body...
is there any way to stop this lumps from coming out is there any treatment for this .. my doctor recommendation is just to leave it alone cause its non cancerous... i dunt feel comfotable with these lumps and afraid that more will grow... _________________ my worried |

It is good to hear that they are not malignant. What is the diagnosis then? You should ask your physician about it. Cancer is just one disease, and these nodes are not normal. Are they from infection? Or some other causes?
