Just saw the radiation oncologist, and my latest PSA, like the one before, is less than 0.1. So far, it looks like my salvage radiation did the trick (I had a prostatectomy in April 2006, after which my PSA initially fell to less than 0.1 but then started rising rapidly).

Side effects--for me--have been pretty minimal. My main complaint has been some proctitis and radiation-induced diarrhea. The proctitis is gone, and the diarrhea too, although my lower GI tract still runs a lot faster than it used to.
