My wife has been suffering serious cancer in the neck for three years and we have been looking for charities but have not found one yet. Perhaps you can help or show us where we can find a charity or a similar institution. We can provide necessary data, including photos and medical records.
Best regards,

Hi Faus, it has been a long time since you first posted. I am so sorry to hear that your wife is still ill. I wish I knew a charity to help you but I really do not and do not know how to find one. I do hope you find the information you seek. It must be very hard for you to see your wife ill and not to be able to help. My heart goes out to you and your wife. _________________ Jim

Faus,
Very sorry to hear about your wife. It's terrible that it's so hard to get financial help when you really need it. I mean, how difficult would it be for the government to step in and provide assistance to the thousands, millions, of people (its own citizens) who are living or dying with cancer?
Maybe if we didn't waste so much money on things like war and politics, we'd be able to spend it on healthcare and keeping our people healthy and happy.
I feel terrible about what you're going through. I wish there were some place I could point you.
Hang in there. |

It's a terrible situation. Our healthcare system really is cruel and disgraceful.

Hi Joseph,
After battling against nasopharyngeal cancer for three and half years, my wife passed away on Feb. 6, 2008 and was buried on Feb. 8, 2008.
Best wishes,
Faus |

Your wife should be applying for Social Security Disability in her state of residence. If she has never worked, then she can apply for SSI/Supplemental Security Income in her state of residence at the local Public Assistance/Welfare office.
If she is eligible for Social Security Disability, she will have to be on Social Security Disability for two years before she can obtain Medicare. However, during that two year time frame, she may be eligible for Medicaid( Medical Assistance) through her local Public Assistance/Welfare office. The income limits for these special MA cards is much higher than the normal public assistance/MA cards.
If she is eligible for SSI, then she will automatically receive an SSI Medicaid card from the Department of Public Welfare along with her monthly stipend from SSI.
I know this information because I worked for 29 & 1/2 years for the Department of Public Welfare before I retired.
