Depending on your state, sometimes it can be near to impossible to get reasonable health insurance. Some states are cheap, and others are ridiculous. I live in Maine, and it's $300+ a month for a single guy, healthy, if you're paying by yourself without any help from your employer.

There's got to be a better way.
