Hi all, this is my first time posting and im very sorry about your loved losses and still have PC going.... I wanted to learn more about pancreas cancer....
Dad's doctor called and found out that he have pancreas cancer on 1/10/08 - He is only 51 years old... I was upset and trying to find out how to cure and stuff.... My wife just found about oxygen threapy that come with hydrogen perxidoe to kill cancer cells ... have anyone's experince with that before ? I dont like Chemo or radiontal that probably will killing my dad. I dont think I could trust that.
Well at first,
My dad was having pain in his stomach area... Doctor said it was gallbadders so the doctor removed it when he had surgey just right before the christmas week. then he turned jundiunce ( yellow skin ) then went off. Doctor said there is large rock in somewhere? that they couldn't get it out . so he had to go other hospital where they have kind of machine that possible can take the large rock out. Then, they couldn't do it and send him to Duke Unveristy Hospital and they are running test after they couldn't be able to get it out. then 1/10/08 thats how we found out he have pancrea cancer. _________________ ---------

I'm really sorry to hear about your father. My mom was just diagnosed as well and so I know how heartbreaking it can be. I would be really leary of just doing alternative treatments and no radiation & chemo. I personally am not against some alternative methods and in fact have my mom on Triphala (an herbal supplement) but am not expecting it to cure her alone. I'm just hoping it will help some.
If you are interested in your oxygen therapy I would go to the american cancer society website and read what they say about it. I don't think we are allowed to post links here (I could be wrong). They have info on several alternative methods and they list the pros and cons of them.
Take care, Izzabella |

| Hi..sorry to hear about your father!!! I am also located in north carolina, and when my mother was diagnosed last february with pc she was refered to Duke. The people there are very helpful, and want to help. They will try all they can. The surgeon my mom had was Dr. Tyler hes a great guy, and great at what he does-literature says hes one of the best in the area!!!!. Although they could not remove my mothers tumor, he did all he could. Hope all goes well for you and your family. You'll be in my prayers. |
