I was diagnosed of having Kidney Cancer Stage 2. My left kidney has been removed. I am now doing a 3 monthly check up. It consists of MRI on the abdomen and Chest Xray, blood test on liver and kidney function, and ultrasound on bladder, kidney and liver. I wonder if this test is comprehensive enough. Thanks.

Dear Soohk,
I think your physician is the best person to answer that question because he will order the tests according to your condition. But if we are talking about standard follow-up protocols in most of the academic cancer centers, that is comprehensive enough if the previous findings were negative.
