Hi to every one on this wonderful site. Does anyone have any experience with the term Mild Dysplasia? In Jan last year I had Melanoma removed from my arm which was 1mm. All other tests clear Smile I attend check ups every 3 months and three weeks ago had two further moles removed from the other arm, one of which has come back with "mild Dysplasia". I have my follow up on Thursday at the hospital, but in the meantime I am very worried what exactly it all means. Would it have developed into Melamoa had I have not had it removed? I have a few moles that I would consider the same, will they need to come off as well. Please can anyone advise me, has anyone had moles that have been Dysplasia? Thank you. Confused

Here is a site that talks of this. My understanding would be that as long as its benign your great. I would talk with the dematologyst concerning the moles and what he suggests, I would also get a second opinion before removing all of them if that is the suggestion.

I am sure there are others that can comment on this also. Your doing what you need to be doing, getting regular check ups. I am not sure if your doing monthly body exams on yourself, or if you have mapped your body so that you can stay on top of this, but more then likely you are.

Keep the faith, we all have too much to live for.
