anyone with Pan. cancer have severe weakness in legs?

Hello,

My mom who was diagnosed a month ago with pancreatic cancer has been experiencing severe weakness in the legs which I read is not uncommon with this cancer. Has nayone else experienced this and if so did you find anything that helped it?

Hi Izzabella
Was your mother undergoing chemotherapy when her leg problem developed? Is she still having the problem? I know it's been a couple of months ago but I hope she is doing better.

Unfortunately she passed away early Feb but not from cancer. She had a heart attack. I guess it is the best this way then to have her endure the cancer. At her age I doubt she would have lasted long from chemo as her body was just too weak.

As for her legs it actually started prior to her being diagnosed with the cancer. I read on the web when researching pan. cancer that weak legs can be a symptom prior to diagnosis.
