Oh and a question... she has tumors i her neck and in her abdomen all under her diaphram... is this normal in NHL? are these tumors AROUND the organs ? (as opposed to in her organs...I have not seen any reports so just want to understand...) shes really very fit and well with no apprent sypmtons. only neck swellings.

Dear Clare

So sorry to hear about your Mum's diagnosis. So good that she's strong & healthy otherwise because she should cope better with chemo treatment. I pray this is so anyway.

Supporting your Mum will mean being by her side every step of the way. I hope this is possible for you? Go along with her to her chemo treatments (if she's receiving IV chemo drugs), these oncology wards/outpatients can be sad & depressing.

I'm sure you will advocate for your Mum if this is needed & just being there for her, loving her & supporting her.

I can't answer any questions about NHL but I'm certain you will receive replies from more knowledgeable forum members before too long.

Please know my prayers & thoughts are with you & your Mum as you begin this "journey".

Cheers, Angie.
