Hey Brainman,
Have you ever thought about a part where people can post merry heart stories. Maybe something that could bring joy in the midst of their storm?

I will even start one if it is ok.

First my Dad died of brain cancer and Mom was already very bad with Parkinson (dementia). Caregiving was so much harder with the both of them in terrible shape and in fact finally the health care nurse said Mom needed more attention, even with all the caregivers I had hired. Mom and I were more like sisters than mother daughter as we enjoyed visiting everyday with each other for more than 30 years.

Anyway, we talked and she wanted to stay in a local nursing home instead of the fancier one out of town so I could be there daily and she knew more people. (With dementia - people have good days and bad) But one day when I arrived, Mom had a hard look on her face. I sat down next to her and she said the lady a chair away on the other side was very mean and did not like her. I looked down and noticed Mom putting her hand was on this gentlemen's leg next to her and leaned over to Mom and said Mom - I think she is upset because you have your hand on her husband leg. Mom leaned back and said oh no honey he is not married. I did not argue but after the grief was over - I occasionaly laugh about this. My Mom was a very beautiful lady and I think this man liked sitting next to her. My Dad looked like John Wayne, even when he got older.

You could post your joyful stories in the Inspirational Stories Forum Wink.

I have viewed this section but know it would not be the place to post. After being a florist for over 25 years, I know people sometimes are ready for joy and sometimes not. Like at a funeral - you know how some people come up and say things they think will make you feel better but what a awful time to say it.

With a merry heart section, those reading could go there only if they are ready to receive a joyful story.

That's ok, if you think this will not fit.

I totally understand your point. We will think about it for the new forum. The same is true for the Inspirational Stories Forum. Not everyone is ready to hear "survivor stories" when they are not likely going to survive or when their loved one did not survive.

You already know what I mean and in fact it took me a couple of years for the Lord to heal my heart. May you be blessed by even allowing all my posts.

Thank you,
