I have an aquatance with cancer. What is the best way to set up a fund or take donations toward her medical bills?

I am not too sure. You might want to talk with your local backer or an accountant to set that fund up. Preferably, set it up as a charitable donation so that the donors can deduct it from their taxes.

If she has breast or cervical cancer, she may be eligible for the free medical card for uninsured women with Breast & Cervical cancer.


This link explains the Breast & Cervical Cancer Prevention & Treatment Act of 2000.
