Anyone have these symptoms

My wife is 50 years old and has had a range from spotting to very heavy mensus vitually every day for over 1 1/2 years. She had std. and trans vag ultra sound, pap, blood tests done by GP about 1 month ago. He indicated most likely a fibroid. US showed mass in fundus 7.7 X 4.3 CM. Endometrial wall has thickened to 16mm, 2 small simple cysts on ovaries and small amount of free fluid in cul de sac. Other symtoms include painful and frequent urination, pain and bleeding after sex, pelvic pain, gas and bloating after meals, constipation, fatigue, look of being 3 months pregnant (bulge at lower ab), sometimes legs and ankle swell, sometimes pain just below right rib cage. She has had 2 children by C-section (breach birth) and 1 miscarriage. She had to have a D&C after the miscarriage, about 20 years ago due to excessive bleeding. Her pap was normal except for bacterial vaginosis. Estradiol 658, Follicle 2.4, Luetinizing 7.6. She is very resistant to seeing an GYN and it was difficult for me to get her to the GP.
Has anyone had similar experiences and been diagnost with EC or other cancers. Is it likely just a fibroid, or is this just optimistic?

Hi lhusband,

Your wife has quite a laundry list of symptoms! I do not know if they are related or not. I agree with you that your wife should see in GYN to sort through all these symptoms. Encourage her to go seek medical advice. As the GP said, it might be fibrosis, but why take the chance that it is something more?

I will keep you and your wife in my thoughts and prayers.

Hi

I dont know what your wife has

BUT let me tell you bleeding for 1 1/2 years is not normal but for some reason normally fear women but up with an hell off a lot
I had every symptom you mention

I had cancer and my cancer had spead to the muscle of my uterus because I ignored the signs

Please please push your wife to seek help

Im so happy I did I have my life back and no more horrid bleeding I can do anything I had a total hyst and feel great

Bloating and urinary problems can be symptoms of ovarian cancer. You should really get it checked out.

Any woman who has not bled for a year and suddenly has even one episode of bleeding or spotting MUST have an endometrial biopsy to determine if there is endometrial (uterine) cancer. I was very fortunate to have known that and had a D&C that showed cancer cells in time to have a total hysterectomy at Stage One with a Grade One tumor.

Being afraid to see the gynecologist puts you at risk of being at late stage when diagnosed. I also learned that a hysterectom is basically a diagnostic tool to determine what stage of cancer you are at. If you are a candidate for laparascopic surgery, you can have the hysterectomy with minimal recuperation time. I was home the next day after 5 1/2 hours of surgery. I was up and around almost immediately.

Be smart! Get checked.
