Just found this forum yesterday. I have lost many of relatives to cancer. 2 grandmothers and 2 grandfathers.

Caliguy, I am so sorry about the extent of cancer in your family. My paternal grandfather died due to lung cancer (long time smoker), one of my maternal uncles died of lung cancer (also a long time smoker and tobacco farmer), my mother died of brain cancer (GBMIV) and my father died of Leukemia (ALL). I am a brain cancer survivor but know that if I live long enough my odds are rather high that I too will die due to cancer. All of this to say that I can truly identify with you and your family.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry to hear that cancer has taken the lives of some of your relatives, I can't imagine what it must have been like to go through that.
