First PSA was 4 weeks post op and was 0.1 (yeah). Second PSA this week (8 weeks post-op) was a big GOOSE EGG (YIPPEE). He'll be on a 3-month followup for at least the first year (doctor may decide to continue 3-month follow ups for 2 years since the cancer had invaded the capsule but not broken through. Since margins, vesicles and blood vessels were all clean, we are all very confident that his results will continue to be great.

Just wanted to share the good news, and to tell all those wives out there that there is often a light at the end of the tunnel.

Wishing you all God's speed on this journey.

Sephie, I am so glad you shared this wonderful news with us! So many times the messages posted are not good. It is wonderful to read a "good news" post once in a while.

My best to you and your husband.

We are very happy with the news. Replicant, you have been an amazing source of information for me and I shared your story with my husband. He's not the type who likes to understand the nuts and bolts of illness but I am so reading your posts is always enlightening. Our urologist was amazed at the questions I asked him and complimented me on "doing my homework" - I have this board to thank for my education.
