Wanted to get your opinions on the UV worthiness of it for outdoor activities. It will be for mowing the lawn and various other backyard activies. The label inside says "vegetable fibers or materials" but it looks and feels like a straw hat. I like it because it has a wide brim for plenty of facial and neck back coverage. Thanks. [/url]

foobar, most of those type hats are an excellent choice just depending on how tight the strands of straw are woven together.
