I think i have a cancerous testicle, my right one
and im 15 years old, 16 in april
I have a pea sized lump on the right side of my right teste
I also have small bumps on the very end of my penis, the end closest to my body, ive never experienced back pain or chest pain or severe headaches ot anything like that, just those two symptoms.
I have no clue what to do, and its embarrassing, i really don't want to lose my teste because if theres one thing in life i want to be its a father, and im worried that if i have it removed i wont produce enough sperm or my sex drive will be way to low.
And what if i get both removed?
Im just not sure what to do, please im looking for some kind of guidance
Thanks.

Hi - For a teenager anything that is odd can be really worrying. However, doctors are not embarrassed by this kind of thing and my advice would be to swallow your pride and see the doctor. It is quite possibly absolutely nothing to worry about, but better to find that out than to worry yourself into a decline.

ethanftw,

Mate- get it looked at. I know it is scary and pretty embarassing, BUT they see them day in day out- After a while, it's like they are looking into a persons ear or throat. A simple and basic thing to look at.

If your serious about wishing to be a dad, then swallow the pride and go to the Dr.

Good Luck, let us know how you go.

Testicular cancer is highly treatable, even when cancer has spread beyond the testicle. Depending on the type and stage of testicular cancer, you may receive one of several treatments, or a combination. Regular testicular self-examinations can help identify growths early, when the chance for successful treatment of testicular cancer is highest.

You are rather pessimistic!

If you have any concerns and IF you are ill, then talk to your school. They will surely do their best to help you.

I got tc when I was 15. So I know how you feel Sad Don't freak out, first thing you need to do is relax. there are a lot of options out there and you will be fine. I chose to do natural therapy and It has worked out well for me so far. I'm 25.

HI ethanftw! My heart goes out to you-may you have the strength to bear the reatment; you will surely come out best in this fight.
What touched me was your "I want to become a father". Read the autobiography of the international cyclist Lance Armstrong. He had the same problem and he is now the father of a lusty boy.
