Hi,

My Dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer recently. He will likely have surgery in October.

We are doing a lot of changes with his diet and related matters - aiming to maximize his outcome and recovery.

I have read a lot about cow's milk and related products being tied to prostate cancer and the need to cut it out, as it will help the cancer grow. Makes sense to me given the high sugar content, high fat, growth hormones and other garbage, and the acidic nature of cow's milk.

I know that Goat's milk has less sugar, has more digestible fats, is more nutritious, does not have the growth hormones etc... and is actually alkaline in nature.

What I am wondering is if anyone has any experience with substituting goat milk for cow milk to help with prostate cancer.

I know we could look at organic soy or brown rice milk but my father does not like either of them. He would prefer the goat milk.

Does anyone have information about goat milk and prostate cancer?

Thanks,
Daughter7

Thank you for the suggestion. I have looked into it a bit but there are a few concerns that I have about Buffalo Milk. The higher sugar and fat content of Buffalo Milk, the slower digestibility of it, and how it is not alkaline. In contrast, the lower sugar and fat, and good digestibility and alkaline nature of goat are all a big part of why I think it might be OK for prostate cancer.

It is interesting to see from the link how available Buffalo Milk must be in the UK. Unfortunately, here in Ontario it really isn't available much for the people who would benefit from it.

you are right on track. remember that lemons are very alkaline as well as limes. you might try eating a lemon a day for a week and how that helps. as well remember no refined sugar. that has helped put my cancer in remission Cool
