| Has anyone had any experience with this doctor? mom was reffered to him and her appt is this monday for diagnosis. I hear hes suppose to be good whats his personality like? If this material is not aloud posting I understand. |

| altho no-one eles seemed to have anything to tell about him-we met him at moms appt today and he seems like a very sure of himself caring gentle intelligent man- hope he is truly as good as what has been on the internet and newspapers etc.....Were going to need all the positives we can get. |

Search for the website for the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons
Click on "Find a Surgeon"
Enter your city and state
If your Dr Geller is a board certified colorectal surgeon then at least you know this doctor is specialized in this field. If Dr. Geller is not board certified in colorectal surgery, perhaps you could find a doctor off this website and get your mother an appointment for a second opinion.

| thank you been there done that he is known in many areas with alot of experience and belongs to several organizations on innovative techniques regard the live and liver cancers. you can type in DR Geller and actually get info straight about his works -I was more interested in the compassionate side for my moms sake- personality helps- but if theyre good its not a priority- but he seems to be qualified for intelligence and a caring approach-were pleased so far. thanx again |

Sheila,
So agree with you on the caring approach - I picked my specialist because he is just a peach - and I went up to Michigan for second opinions, plus another surgeon when I was admitted to the ER.
I just love my Doctor, he truly does care and keep sup with all the latest stuff on cancer too.

I'm also on another board. I know of one person on that board loves him.
You may want to do a google search and I'm sure his name will come up. You can also try under blogs.
So that this one stays on, I'll post on the next e-mail what the other board is. |

If you go to http://www.cancercompass.com/ and head to the message boards, you'll find that someone has seen him and highly recommends him.
This site is headed by the cancer treatment centers of america, although almost all of us the site have never been there. |

| Cptmac-thank you for pointing that site out -sounds like mom is about as lucky as she can get to have him as her liver surgeon-It does give one some hope hearing about his works. thanks again-sheila |

| we are extremely pleased with Dr.Geller very patient kind caring and excellent at what he does. He has gotten us through this and mom is doing well! I would HIGHLY reccommend him! |
