I was reading this forum just yesterday and someone posted about some new treatment being done in Pennsylvania Pittsburgh maybe??) for pancreatic cancer. I didn't have time to read the whole article and planned to come back to it today to see if it was worth discussing with my father in law's oncologist. It is gone now and I can't find it. Was it moved? Is it a scam? I think it was a story about some type of radiation treatment that killed only pancreatic tumor cells. Can someone redirect me to it? thanks

Hi Audib,

I don't know for sure what happened to the particular post. Our chief administrator may have removed it for not conforming to our posting guidelines. If the member who posted this had less than 10 substantive posts, then they are not allowed to put links in a post.

I'm only guessing here and hopefully our admin (brainman) will be around soon to give you an answer. I wanted to give you some type of response in the meantime.

My best wishes,
PBJ

Hi Audib. I cannot remember a specific instance of deleting a post like the one you describe. If possible, I only delete the link. But in those rare occasions where deleting the link would make the message worthless, I do often go ahead and delete the message.

Another possibility is that someone replied by posting spam. I deleted 3 spammers yesterday. If one of some "members" had replied to the post you are asking about, it is possible that post was deleted as well. I do need to be more careful when deleting spammers who have posted more than once.

If you know much about what the article was about, you can do a google search for it. I am very sorry for this inconvenience.

this was the original post that was deleted. I don't think it is offensive in any way-does not promote a product. It is just offering some info about some research being done.

audib, I totally agree... that link is fine. Like I said, I do not remember deleting any message but I know I deleted 3 real spammers that day so one of them may have post a reply to that original post.

Sorry about the inconvenience.
