We just got the results back from my dad's body scan. They found floating tumors. I am not sure how many there are or not. They want him to start radiation again. Can a tumor grow if it is not attached to something? He was diagnosed with PC in Dec 07, had the whipple surgery and chemo through August

A tumour is an abnormally developing cell, and does not need to be attached to anything.

he has a string of tumors right now. They have given him a year at best to live. We start chemo next week. What are the chances of these tumors going away with the chemo
