Anyone have experience of this type of tumour? The forum search doesn't seem to work on my pc. Info is for myself as I was diagnosed in Sep 08. I know they are rare in adults (I'm 27) so there is little info on the net.

Treatment wise I've had surgery (2nd op as 3 months prior to the PNET I had surgery to debulk a grade 2 ganglioglioma, a misdiagnosis)

Before christmas I had 35 sessions of radio to full brain and spine. Alongside this I had 4 sessions of vinchristine and CCNU. I'm just about to have my second cycle of PCV.

Last scan showed a reduction in tumour size, hurrah!

It would be nice to speak to someone with a PNET.

PS, I live in the UK. I know treatment differs from country to country

Hi Becks. I am so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I know very little about PNET although I know that others have posted about it before. You might try replying to one of them to see if they can help.

In 1992, I was on the PCV treatment plan for 13 months. The discontinued the Vincristine ("V" in PCV) because it was causing peripheral neuropathy to my toes.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
