Does anyone have any information on this relatively new generic? Anyone taking it?

Yes, my father received 3 cycles of RVD Velcade along with lenalidomide.
He received 1.5 to 2.0 mg of RVD on 4,8,12,16 day of month.
He was also supported with WBC and RBC boosters twice every week.

Thanks for the post Vink. I am being treated for MM using Revlimid and considering changing to the generic (Lenalid) because of cost. Sounds like your father and I are on similar treatments. Did his oncologist recommend the generic or was it a decision you made? How is his treatment progressing? My dosage is 25mg daily for 21 days.

My father passed away recently. He was 67 years. He fell prey to intestine sepsis (shock) and his blood pressure dropped severely.

He was diagnosed with MM just one year ago. And he was on dialysis twice a week from then on.

Before starting the treatment we were given the options of going with the VAD chemotherapy or going with Velcade, Lenalidomide, Dexa combination. We chose the later to give him advanced treatment.

His lenalidomide dosage was 20 mg first and later reduced to 10mg depending on his blood count.

Be very careful. Anyone selling generic revlimid in the US is committing a crime - the patent does not expire until 2026.

Generic lenalidomide is not commerically available and may not be quality or real lenalidomide
