Have not had my surgery yet, but soon and I do like to travel.
Will missing a lobe be a problem for airplane travel and will I have to wait a period of time in order to fly?
Thanks so much everybod for sharing your experiences.

I was out stealing airplanes (single engine land) the next week without any problems. Word of advice though, if you?re going to steal an airplane then steal a nice one. Last week had a right wheel fail to lock into place and I ground looped on landing.

Hello

You will need to ask the surgeon and the pulmonary specialist about this. It baiscally depends on how much lung function there is left. Also, if you need oxygen your physician can certainly arrange that for you during the trip.

best regards,
Leo
