What would cause pain in the lungs? Last week i was having pain along my ribcage my lun gs i thought . Well i quit smoking and that went away but every now and then i will have stabbing pains in the lung area my shoulder hurt very bad last week i heard shouklder pain was a symptom of lung cancer it still is a little sore with some burning but not near as bad as last week could this be cancer

Not knowing can be scarier then knowing so go see a doctor. I got 5 doctors and I go to the doctor office all the time. Let me know how it goes. Then when the doctor gives you a clean bill of health you can come visit me and I?ll give you my special howdy dowdy medical exam that?s guaranteed you?ll like.

You should seek medical attention for this. Pains are not necessarily signs of cancer, but only a physician can evaluate this and help you.
