My dad passed away a year ago from pancreatic cancer. I still miss him so much.

Love you Dad.
I will always be your girl. I will be a grandmother in May. I wish you could be here to meet Elizabeth Morgan.

Hi Bluek,

I'm really sorry about the loss of your Father.

Although I haven't lost a parent to death, both my husband and I know how it feels from losing our grandmothers to cancer. Wow what a hard blow that was.

It will be a beautiful time when we can see our loved ones again, under perfect conditions just as the bible has promised at Rev. 21:4 'he will wipe away all tears and DEATH will be no more' as well as Isaiah 25:8 'he will swallow up DEATH forever' and one last beautiful verse found at John 5:28,29 'all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out'.

These certainly are beautiful promises that God has given.

I hope these verses will bring you some comfort as they have My husband and I.
Very Happy

Thank you so much for your kind words. The verses you used are some of my favorite ones from the Bible. I lost my husband to colon cancer on December 5, 2004 and then my Dad on March 30, 2008. My faith and belief in Our Lord Jesus and His Father have helped me get through all of the sorrow. I know that one day when I go home to be with the Lord I will see my loved ones again. I can imagine what a great time of joy that will be.

I am so sorry that you lost your grandparents to cancer. It is such a hard thing to watch your loved ones suffer from that horrible disease. I lost my grandfather to cancer also.

Thank-you for your kind words as well:-)

I thought of another verse that is one of my favorite 'comfort' scriptures.

Philippians 4:6,7

Have a beautiful day.
