Hello, I have not, but remember a young lady that used to work where I do, and she lost her boyfriend to leukemia. He died 3 days before their wedding day- planned before they discovered his illness. I found myself wanting to help and not knowing how, or what to say. She is now married with 2 children. God bless you, and someone will come along and be of more help. _________________ Kathy: still loving Ben, as he rests with God. |

Hi sunshine,
I'm sorry for the lost of your boyfriend. Losing a loved one, no ,matter who is hard, but a partner always seems so much harder.
I think he would be very proud of you and wishes you happiness and love.
Some of the memorial posts may help you, or the inspiration ones.
Take Care and know that we are here. _________________ Thinking of you Inica

Hi Sunshine - Losing someone you love is so traumatic. It seems the end of the world.
But be assured, it is not, and your boyfriend is there in your heart and mind. Your memories keep him alive. Mourn him well. But one day you will wake up and find that the sun is out and there is life out there. It is not a denial of him, but a moving into a new state.
Let your feelings out here - we have much experience of the sadness and the anger and the love that comes with loss, and can feel with you. |

| Sunshine, I lost my boyfriend of two and a half years to a glioblastoma brain tumor. I know how you feel. It was almost a year and a half ago, and I still miss him terribly. How are you doing? |

(((Sunshine)))
I'm so sorry you are having difficulty. I understand too well. You are still very early in the grieving process. Give yourself time. I sure do for myself. You go through many stages. Sometimes you think you see a light at the end of the tunnel only to find yourself back in the dark again.
I wish I could tell you when it gets better but after 16 months I'm still having a very tough time. Be gentle on yourself.
Many hugs,

Sunshine,
I'm still right there with you. I just experienced Valentines day, which marks another 6 months to the day since he's been gone. I HATE Valentines day. You are still in my thoughts and prayers. Also, to the others who have offered support, thank you so much. Truly, I have been blessed. |

Dear Sunshine,
I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my husband to cancer over 7 years ago. I miss him terribly, and yes, it does get easier. You learn to live with pain, the pain is not so horrible anymore, and I'm able to remember good times now and smile.
((((hugs)))

Hi Sunshine,
My fiance of almost 6 years recently passed in November last year so it hasn't been that long. He was diagnosed with AML a few years back and had a bone marrow transplant on Jan 29th 08. He was in remission and then he had really bad GVH to the gut and did not do well resulting in him passing away.
I spent every single moment in the hospital with him whether I was sleeping there, going to procedures with him or just anything and I held his hand through it all.....I don't think there is anyhting I didn't see.
I am 23 years old and miss my bestfriend and soulmate more then anything....I gave him hope everyday that we were dealing with this and I always thought he was going to get through...he was a strong, healthy man and was 27 when he passed.
Please write me back as I am looking for someone to share my stories with and how to deal with this incredible pain that I deal with everyday.

Hey sunshine,
We are so sorry to hear about your loss, I hope these scriptures from the bible, give you some comfort. Revelation 21:3,4 "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes...no more mourning, nor death be anymore"
Another one we truly love is taking from Psalms 55:22 'throw your burden...and he himself will sustian you'
Once again so sorry for the loss. _________________ Dave & Kizz |

it was a site i was always on throughout his illness, so i guess it was something i tried to avoid for sometime.
i just wanted to thank the support i have been given through this, and for those who run this website, you really do change people's lives, the support you provide helps so many people every day..
it really helped me in times of darkness and loss.
