My 72 year old grandmother was just diagnosed with lung cancer. She hasn't told me much...just that it's inoperable and fast spreading. She was a smoker her whole life and has had breast cancer years ago. I know that she may not survive but I just wanted to know if radiation or chemo would even be worth it for her at that age. Also, with fast growing cancer I would like to know how long they may survive with no tratment if caught early. Any advice would be apperciated. Thank you.
