Hi

After having cryo twice I was advised by Dr Abtin and Prof Suh to get my lining removed as this would give me many more years and when any sign of cancer returned they would cryo-ablate the new growth.

I was recommend by the American Doctors to seek out John Edwards, who actually works out of Sheffield and underwent this surgery on January 15th.

To put it politely it was do or die. By having the plerua removed it proved one thing, cryo ablation worked, the areas frozen had died so if you have any doubts about it working, don't because it does.

If you have too much fused cancer then cryo can only ease the pain.

It would be great if someone in England started doing this as for pallative care its cheap, for saving the body from chemicals its cheaper and for giving the patient a better life, its invalueable.

If you want to read more of my experience with cryo and surgery please view my blogspot.

Good luck to all out there battling this disease
