Hi Sara, I am sorry that no one has responded to you yet. I do not know much about Ganngliogliomas but a lot about gliomas in general. If you have any specific questions, I will be glad to try and help. I read you blog and therefore know that it is you that has this cancer. I am so very sorry.

brainman, thanks for your reply anyway.

I think they only account for 1.3% of adult brain tumors. So not much info out there on them, so that is my main reason for wanting to try and connect with others that may have had one.

Although a Ganglioglioma does has some unique features, it does originate from the same cell family if you will, that other gliomas do. You can find more applicable information if you look up gliomas. The general information you find will also be true about Gangliogliomas. Of course, you have probably already done this. Hopefully, someone will reply that has personal experience with Gangliogliomas.
