Recently completed 12 treatments of chemo (5fu,lecv,oxy) after surgery for colon resection in March 2004. I had 1 lymph pos and had penetrated through the colon wall. No mets. I recently had a cat scan that revealed a fatty tissue mass in the lower abdomen which dr. said was most likely post op tissue. In addition 1 or 2 spots showed up in the lung that the dr. said typically shows up in 70% of the scans. What does this mean and what are the chances that this may be more cancer?

Hello

Not knowing what the CT-scan report says makes it difficult to know what it is. It seems that your doctor was not impressed and he/she thinks this should be ok.

regards,
Leo
