i want to meet with other survivors and share stories with, does any one know where i can find them? i am in bay area, CA

Try called your local hospitals. As to speak with a Social Worker and ask him/her if they have a cancer support group. Ask the nurses at your doctor's office. You can also call your local hospices. Sometimes they sponsor support group. Finally, you can the nearest branch office of the American Cancer Society. If you cannot find anyone using any of these sources, offer to start one... probably through your on oncologist's office because you are more likely to find people with shin cancers that way.

Coco, Jim is right on target.... UCSF (University of California at San Francisco) has a superb reputation as one of the very best Melanoma treatment centers in the entire U.S. ..... I would call UCSF (or Dr Daud's office who is with USCF); I'm fairly certain they would know.....
