Ben has now decided to try another approach for the next period of time: the time he has left with no treatment. He is curious if there is any way to help flush the chemo meds from his body, other than time, so he can have an improved quality of the time he has left. Unfortunately he is also second guessing the decisions he has made on this path, and wondering if he could have done things differently, and did he make a mistake with the pursuit of the traditional treatments. I guess this is normal, but I wonder if I let him down somehow.
I do not know-it is all so very difficult....

Kathy, Ben sounds angry... as well as he should be. He has been dealt a very bad hand. I am so sorry that the two of you have to face these times.

Most chemos are out of the person's system within days but he could double up on the amount of water he is drinking to keep his kidneys flushed.
