My grandfather has had CLL for approximately 10 years and has progressively gotten sicker, as was expected. He has now developed a large lump on his back just below his shoulder blade on his right hand side. The lump was biopsied and the results came back cancerous. We suspect that it is lymphoma and I was wondering if anyone here has had any encounter with Ritcher's syndrome. I haven't been able to find much online, but from what I have found the symptoms seem to describe him to a tee. Any info would be much appreciated! Also, they have suggested radiation therapy for the lump, but we are leary to go ahead with it for fear that it will make the last part of his life worse that it has to be. Has anyone gone through radiation after having CLL or any form or leukemia?
