Hi All,

Just a quick introduction before I read through all the posts and start posting myself. I'm 47, married, father of two young boys. Just yesterday I got the news from my surgeon that I either have anal cancer or rectal cancer. He's basing this on what he sees and feels. I just had a CAT scan today and have a colonoscopy scheduled for early next week. I see the doc again after all the tests and he'll give me the game plan. He prepared me by telling me that depending on what the tests show, I'm going to need radiation, chemo, or drastic surgery.
