Do any of you have information about taking B-12 supplements? I am getting mixed opinions.

Hi channelsurferdude. I take B-12... not for cancer but for general health. Since it is readily available, I would say that it is safe at the recommended dosage. Even if the only thing it does it to help keep you healthy throughout your treatments, it is probably worth taking. Just my humble opinion.

In all due respect, I do not think there is ANY correlation between the ready availability and the safety of a particular supplement for a specific condition.

The study actually reinforces previous findings that folate while reducing birth defects in child bearing women, may increase cancer risks with several forms of cancer.
