hi all,

my wife's cancer has returned. let me explain:

1. recently found 2- 3mm size masses in lymph nodes. nodes removed.
2. left breast where carcinoma in situ seen, removed, reconstruction in process

the oncologist originally thought chemo for 4 rounds, now says will continue with original strategy (PETs, MRIs, blood, mammogram every couple of months, etc.)

no sign of any other spread. is this typical procedure after discovering cancer in lymphs?

oncologist thought it better not to put her through affects of chemo for now. have been very happy with care thus far, but nagging question about why not chemo now?

will speak with oncologist monday.

I live with family memebers who had cancer from a young age.I have learned from this experience that you can’t depend on your living relatives to help you out.
I found a website****LINK DELETED BY ADMIN PER FORUM POSTING POLICIES - PLEASE REVIEW IN TOP SECTION OF MAIN PAGE -- THANK YOU**** which provided me a sanctuary to ask questions, receive support, and share my experiences with others--and, the feedback I've received has enriched my life.
We have learned or are learning. Together we have put out a lot of our fears.. we have been educated beyond what we learn on our own.
