Husband has his 3rd PSA test yesterday to confirm recurrence. Urologist called us today (Saturday) to say that his PSA was back DOWN TO UNDETECTABLE! I was speechless. Doctor said he's seen it happen before but doesn't know why it happens but it does. He had called the radiation oncologist to tell her the news so salvage radiation is off. We are going ahead with the chest CT to investigate the spot found on his collarbone in the bone scan, but the urologist said that considering John's low (and now undetectable) PSA, it's highly unlikely the spot has anything to do with his cancer. Next PSA will be within 2 months - early December the latest.

I wanted to share this wonderful - and miraculous - news with all of you who are facing the same situation.

I'll keep you all posted.
