I wanted to let everyone in the forum know that my mother Melissa Ruth Berg lost her battle on Tuesday with stage 4 renal cell cancer at the age of 53. She put up a huge fight for several months and was determined to beat it. She was taking the Sutent drug for one month before she passed and it appeared to be having positive results. Unfortunatly she came down with pneumonia while being stabilized in the hospital for calcium level issues and her lungs were too damaged for her to recover. I am very sad because she was a one of a kind person. I would like to post her obituary for everyone to read below. Also my father is under a huge amount of stress right now because he lost the love of his life and did not have any medical or life insurrance so the bills keep stacking up Sad I established a site to collect donations for him to help ease the financial problems and would like to share it for anyone that would like to donate to ease his suffering in this time of crisis. Please do not feel obligated in any way to do so.

Obituary
Melissa Ruth Berg (Kabelac) born Oct 10th, 1956 passed away on Oct 20th, 2009 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, WA. She was 53 years young when she lost her life to aggressive renal cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family. She is survived by Lesley Ann Kabelac (Mother), Jerry Berg Sr (Husband), Jerry Berg Jr (Son), Kristina Jay Blackwell (Daughter), Austin Ray Blackwell (Grandchild), Brennen Louis Blackwell (Grandchild) and Deborah Vedin (Sister).
She was an amazing wife, mother and friend and will always be remembered as a loving, caring and selfless individual. She always worried about her friends and family before herself and would always steer people in the right direction when they were feeling down or lost.
She lead an amazing life and touched this world; now she is at peace with her heavenly father Jesus.

Thank you everyone for allowing me to share this with you. Keep up the fight and lets get this cancer epidemic CURED!
