Early this month, my mom was diagnosed having stage IV esophageal cancer as it has already spreaded to some distant lymph nodes. Doctor decided to let her have chemo/rediation first, then the surgery if needed. For the chemo part, they use chemo pills -- Xeloda. I did some online research and found out that Xeloda is mostly used in breast and colorectal cancer. I'm going to ask the doctor about her decision tomorrow. And I'm posting this in the group to see if anyone know about this topic and whether or not Xeloda is a good choice for esophageal cancer. Thanks.

Bill
