:( Hi, My Mother in Law has just had her whole stomach removed, as well as her splean and lymphdodes and a little of her pancreas (sorry about the spelling). SHe is still in hospital but doing a little better everyday. The good news was that they removed all her tumor. Her intestines are not yet functioning. She did pass wind yesterday for the first time which is a great sign. My husband and the family are worried of whats to come next. They have said she will need chemo or radiation but they haven't gone into detail yet. Has any one had either and what should we expect. My mother in law is very strong and is a fighter. Just worried how much these treatments will take out of her?
