Hello I would like some advise concerning my husband
I will start at the beginning and hopefully get it all correct, back in 2000 my husband had a really bad back the pain would go from the lower back to his stomach and would be very painful, we went to and fro to the doctors but they said it was just his job after 2 yrs i took him again to the GP again who then sent us for a blood tests. He was then told he had Hogkins stage 4 it had spread all over his body. He then went on a trail chemo having it once a week for 12 weeks it didnt work so he had a different chemo that he stayed in hospital for that also didnt work so he went to Barts hospital in London and was told he had to have a stronger chemo with a stem cell transplant, even though this worked he was very ill and cought ever infection going.
He finished all treatment and was given the all clear in 2004, he has been fine since then til now.
On saturday we went out drinking and on the sunday he was ill in bed most the day when he did get up he had the pains he used to get back, when i asked him he told me he had had them a few times now, he also seems to catch everything lately and is always tired.
Do you think i should be worried, he had his last check up in August so he had a blood test then but im not sure if you can tell from a blood test ! He has had one night sweat but he did have flu at the time and he doesnt have any lumps on his neck ( that he has told me of)
I just need some advise to what other people who have been through this think thank you Emma

Hi emma96

Sorry to hear this. You need to get back to the doctor as soon as you can. Book an appointment today.

Good luck

Hi emma96

Sorry for the brief previous reply but I was rushing to work when I read it. Don't panic as this is probably something else, but with your husbands history you do need to follow this up as soon as possible. I am really hoping that all is well, but I do urge you to make that appointment.

Good luck and post back with any news.
