Gelatenous ascites...please help!!!!! What is this ?

My mother in law is in very serious condition. Stage 4 endometrial cancer that has spread. She's had chemo and radiation. Not responding. She has had ascites buildup since August 09 and weekly paracentises. Just last week when they went to do it, they found gelatenous ascites. They're saying they can't do a procedure to remove these. She's in pain. We're open to alternative therapies at this point, and want to know if anyone knows of a doc that will remove these gelatenous ascites? Thank you!

Welcome. I do not have answers to your questions and cannot offer you any suggestions. I just want to say she will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hang in there, and keep searching. I hope you find those answers soon.
