Hi, I have been on Tamoxifen for 2 years, and was at first experiencing very heavy periods. Then on 2/24/05, I had what I thought was my last period. Unfortunately on 8/18/05 I had some spotting, then on 8/31/05 I had full blown 5 day heavy bleeding period. I have also had some spotting every day since the heavy bleeding stopped.

I have been having bloating sensations and some pain in my lower ab, pelvic region.

I know that tamoxifen puts you at a higher risk for uterine cancer. Are the symptoms listed above red flags, or just part of perimenopause? I am 47 years old.

Thanks for any help or advice.
