Hello, i had an ultrasound November 2004, the doc thought i had Gallbladder problems because i have Gerd (reflux disease). The docter found accendently and by a miracle a stage 1 pancreatic cancer in the neck/body. It was removed(half the pancreas and the spleen, including 23 lymph nodes in the area).All the nodes were negative including the spleen tissue. i have not become a diabetic as a result of this. There was all clean margins. i am 46 years old. after my surgery i went through complete Gemzar and radiation treatments for 6 months. is there any body else reading this that has had this miracle happen to them or know anybody else like this. i am presently feeling very healthy. PS my husband died of pancreatic cancer that went to the liver and im concerned about my children genetically.

It is a miracle. It sure seems like you don't hear about a lot of pancreatic cancer survival stories. Check out the Lance Armstrong website:

It has a number of survival stories and video clips that are very intersting.

I am so happy for you. not many success stories.
Check out Gemzar.com one guy had stage 4 pan, liver, lungs and is still going 7 yrs later.

Wonder what God has planed for you since you have had such good results?
