Help im new here.

I have just found this site and could have done with it a few weeks ago when my problems came to light.

I had a leetz treatment and samples taken due to abnormal smear tests. The results came back and showed cancer. I had an other leetz done and more samples taken. Because i had the treatment recently it meant the dr and problems getting to the area on the cervix and stoping the bleed that followed. it resulted in me having emergency surgery to stop the bleed as i was loosing alot of blood. The results of the 2nd sample came back today saying no cancer cells but lots of abnormal cells . The dr said i still need to have a hysterectomy to make sure it does not come back.

I am so worried

He mentioned that there would be no need for an mri scan. But what if its spreed or was already somewhere else?

has anyone else been through this.

I am 37 and have a 19 month old son who was born at 26 weeks. I thought i had my fair share of bad luck with my pregnancy ut now this..

just found out today that going to have hysterectomy on 15th dec. dont know what to expect still in shock by it all.

will find out when go for pre op assessment next week but dont know where to start and what to ask with out sounding stupid.

how will i cope with my little boy and what will i be like at christmas??

anyone been though this
