I have what seems to be a swollen lymph node in my right groin. It is about 1.5cm as far as I can tell. I have been having some intermittent slight pain in left lower abdomen and/or an ache in lower pelvis. Many days, I have no discomfort at all, but the lymph node remains swollen and hard. I keep touching it to see if it has become larger and that has made it sore.

I know I have to see the doctor but cannot get an appointment right now. Anybody have the same symptoms and it was not serious? I am post menopause, by the way.

Hi Alison,
Sorry my experience was completely different than yours, I can't shed any light. Could you maybe go to see another doctor? I have found that the wait and see game is the hardest part. Sometimes just having a professional take a look is enough to ease the worry. At least you can feel like something is being done about it. I hope it turns up to be nothing! Good luck and keep us posted!! Also try posting your comment on the lymphoma.com forums. Awesome community there, many that check and reply to posts daily! Very Happy
