Nov 7, 1992 at about this time... 9 pm, I got the shock of my life when my friend and oncologist came into the ER room with the terrible news; with a great deal of certainty, I had a brain cancer. Until that afternoon, I had not had one symptom.
It is great to be able to look back and see all the things that I would have missed out on had I died:
- The graduation of my 3 children
- The marriage of my 2 daughters
- The birth of my grandson and granddaughter
- Several trips back to Brazil
- Being able to help my parents when they died of cancer
- Being able to help an unknown number of people through this forum
Sure, there is an equal list of "bad" things that have happened over those 16 years. However, I do feel blessed. _________________ Jim

LOL @ pay...
I guess we all need a place to release. I know I surely benefit from it, there are so many things I can't say to my hubby, son, parents, family, friends,,well I am sure you know what I mean, you are the one who started this place. Thank you.

HUGE happy dance!!!
I have come to rely on this forum very quickly, and it isn't hard for even a computer do-do like me to manage it. I thank you for your support, and the support of all on this forum. It is my place, my TRULY safe place to be whatever i need it to be when I need it. We are blessed to have people like you to build things like this, and help so many, I find it most rewarding and healing to MY pain , to offer help and support to others. I am a doo-er. Ben, who loves the sword and sorcery , D&D, and all that, says I was a druid in a former life, if you fancy that talk- I just spent so much time needing to help my family when I was young, it is second nature. And I feel that from you, a need to help: and help, you certainly do. And what a success story- 16 years!!!
God Bless, and thank you. _________________ Loving Ben:
