Well, the reports are in. My husband Danny has metastatic lung cancer in his right kidney and two ribs and renal cell carcinoma in his left kidney. There is also abnormal major duodenal papilla in which a MRCP (Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography) is scheduled to determine why it is enlarged. Needless to say, this is totally mind boggling.
My husband has been hospitalized now for 10 days trying to get his calcium down to normal levels and alleviating his continuing dehydration. Poor guy has had kidney biopsies, colonoscopy, endoscopy, CAT scans, MRI's, and has been stuck so many times they can no longer find any veins.
Next week we are to see the oncologists. I have my doubts as to the need for them at this point. Two primary cancers and mets seem insurmountable.
I hate this monster.......

It DOES seem a bit too much for one to handle but keep your chin up. It's one wild roller coaster of a ride but I have seen people push through even with the odds against them. You are in my thoughts and prayers as you battle this nasty Beast!
