Hi, new to group. I am writing for my wife age 58. She has itch 9 months ago. Her derm just said it was eczema and winter itch. Now winter is over, and her condition is even worse. Her legs have purple patches from the scratching, and small red spots on her body, back, arms, stomach, everywhere, evenly-distributed small red spots, from the itch. My research led me to here. One of the reason maybe blood disorder that causes her body to react this way.

What I like to know is does that describes lymphoma/leukemia or at least an onset of it ?

Now on the other side of the balance sheet her latest blood test shown normal except high "Lymph" of 49, 46 was the upper limit for LYMPH. Her WBC,RBC are all in normal range, although compare to prior period her WBC was little lower, and RBC a little higher. Now the WBC is a bit higher, RBC slightly lower - but still well within safety range. Platelets adequate. And there's no fatigue unless the itch caused her not able to sleep, some weight loss but within her personal up/down range, no swollen lymph nodes or frequent infections. She's normal except for the itch of unkown origin.

So on the one hand 9 months of itch with whole-body tiny red 'cuts' just below the skin that sounds ominously like leukemia against a fairly normal blood work and no other symptoms of being sick. Does that describe you when you were DX ?

Thank you so much and look fwd to your answers. Wink Steve
