First of all, I'm a nineteen year old male, and this lump showed up about two weeks before today. I'm not sure what to make of it, but when I pinch the skin to see the size, it's about .5"x.5". My mother has had breast cancer, survived, and I'm just wondering what this lump could be. I've had them before, but they were just bites from the various bugs that I come in contact with when I hike, and they go away fairly quickly. This one, however, worries me greatly. I'm planning on going to the doctor today if possible, but does anyone have any info they might be able to share regarding this? I'm not easily scared...but this makes me worry about my future.
